New tax break for investors
- June 2005
BBC's Radio 4 Moneybox recently featured a relatively
new tax break for investors in their community. CITR or Community
Investment Tax Relief can offer corporate or individual investors tax
relief of 25% over 5 years for those investing in CDFIs. This represents
a good financial return as well as a social dividend of benefiting the
communities in which we live and do business. GDLF will be seeking
accreditation for this scheme and hope to start attracting investors in
the coming months. |
