Welcome to GDLF

Gloucestershire Development Loan Fund Limited (GDLF) lends money to businesses and social enterprises in Gloucestershire when they are unable to obtain finance through mainstream lenders. Funding is available to start a new business enterprise, to expand an existing business or to help a social enterprise. GDLF is a community development finance initiative, a not-for-profit limited company that works closely with committed partners in:

• Business support and mentoring
• Business training and education
• Business planning and lending
• Locally-run business and community projects

We believe there is enormous potential in people who cannot, for different reasons, get the funding they want to build a business. By helping our clients to achieve their goals we will also be helping to regenerate the county and reduce unemployment.
